A major advantage here for this cordless vacuum is that there’s no wasting the power of the single included Lithium-Ion battery. Only use power when you deliberately press the instant-release trigger to pick up dirt. It is powered by Dyson’s V7 digital motor, with a MAX mode and lower-power option too.

And removing the accumulated dirt from the canister is not only easy as well but also hygienic. All it requires is to press a button to release the canister’s contents into the trash bin. Not having to touch the dirt, including pet hair, makes us happy! The bin holds 0.14 gallons.

As with Dyson’s vacuums in general, the V7 Animal Cordless Stick is modern looking. For example, it has a slim shape that looks great in iron. It is not overly masculine looking or too girly either. This vacuum cleaner is lightweight too at just 5.28 lbs. A lighter design makes it easier to move around furniture, on stairs, and to carry if needed. Many online reviews back up this statement.

Moreover, the V7 Animal is among the most versatile top 10 vacuums, in our opinion. It can work on both hard flooring and carpet. It can also become a handheld to fit into hard to reach places, clean upholstery, and even clean the inside of the car. Of course, no vacuum is perfect. The V7 Animal Stick Vacuum has a 30-minute battery life when using a non-motorized tool. On MAX mode, the Dyson V7 Animal can go 6 minutes straight before it needs a charge again.
